I am able to use hypnosis to help people bring about both psychological and physiological change in three main ways:

1. using mental imagery to help a person visualize themselves accomplishing their goals

2. presenting ideas or suggestions that are compatible with what a person desires

3. unconscious exploring to identify whether past events or experiences are causing a personal problem in making positive changes

Slimming is about trusting your innate abilities, as you do when you ride a bicycle. You may not remember how scary it was the first time you tried to bike, but you kept practicing until you could ride automatically, without thought or effort. Losing weight may seem similarly beyond you, but it’s just a matter of finding your balance.

Send food cravings flying away. I routinely harness the power of symbolic imagery, inviting subjects to put food cravings on fluffy white clouds or in hot air balloons and send them up, up, and away. Yes. You remain aware and can stop at any point. Hypnotherapy is guided focus, not mind control.

FAQ 3: How many sessions will I need?
Many people start with help for cravings and routine change in 3 sessions. If emotional eating is long-standing, 6 sessions is often more suitable.

FAQ 4: Do you give meal plans?
We can support healthy habit planning, but we do not replace dietetic or medical advice. If needed, we can work alongside your GP or nutrition professional.

FAQ 5: What if my issue is linked to anxiety or low mood?
That is common. We can incorporate anxiety/stress regulation strategies and strengthen healthier coping behaviours.
